Angry screeching engine when accelarating

I have a 1986 330e the car just had a tuneup and they adjusted the idle also. Now every morning a soon as I start the car the engine initially screeches really bad and when ever you try to step on the gas the screech becomes louder you drive the car and as time passes the screech gets lower then it sort off goes away for a while then at any given moment you step at the gas pedal and the engine does it again it screeches I dont know what they did I told the mechanic he said it sound like a problem with the belts I am starting to wonder since this car didnt have that problem and the last one I sold off was also serviced by him and one of the reasons I got rid of it is because I screech in the engine developed and after several times of him not being able to fix and me paying i decided to sell but it seems he got his hand and now this one will also start suffering the fate is it my mechanic is he doing something or is it a bad tuneup that they are doing or wrong adjustment somewhere
PLEASE HELP cant afford to be drained anymore

From your description it looks like it is a belt noise. Depending what the mechanic did to the car, the belt tension adjustment for the 300E is quite scientific. It requires good knowledge of the function. I would think a "general" mechanic has probably no idea how to do it right. Secondly if he was doing a tune up, messing in the engine compartment with greasy fingers and WD 40 (e.g. to clean the distributor cap) he might have "lubed" the belt what is no good.
To find out whether the belt is causing the noise just apply talkum power on the belt and check whether the noise goes away.

A more serious cause to make the belt slip (due to higher torque requirements), is either a bad bearing in the generator or water pump, or a defective A/C compressor, or any other belt driven accessories.
But first try to get the belt in the right tension and cleaned or better replaced. If it was replaced during tune up than the tension is not ok, if none of the above mentioned other plblems exists.
