Umm...actually I didn't forget to charge my camera....it's older and the rechargable battery is toast...won't hold a charge.
Where would the clearcoat come from when I get the black eye-lid??![Puke](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/puke.gif)

actually, i was all about this mod, and have just been making jokes and **** since this thread began, which you got, and laughed at. if you suddenly up and lost your sens of humor, or just stopped getting mine after my first few posts, then i'm sorry. i mean seriously, the eyelid joke was very lame, but to think i was 'threatening you'? ummm... okay. i wasn't being rude, i was just being silly. anyway f**k it, i'll observe from the sidelines. too much drama. get it? actor? drama? never mind, i'll stop trying.

Mark, you beat me to it man. I have been looking for eyelids for some time now. I love the fact that you found these and made them work, that's what I like to see. I am thinking I am going to do this when I get to the front end of my car as far as modding goes (Still on suspension and exhaust). If you don't mind can you PM me a link to where I can find these or point me in the right direction? Also can you try to get a night pic with the lights on? I want to see if it has the "evil eyes" look of my friends M3 with lids. Thanks and good job

Will do...when I get a new camera...or replace my internal battery...boo.
The lids are Kamei eyelids for the E36 BMW...shave off a bit off the top and they fit perfect!
Chappy, thanks for the constructive post!

and fix your camera, want more pics!
i wish these would go over the turn signal too...
what i did on my old car was buy those black-out headlight covers (you know the ones you see on older mustangs and what have you), and dremeled 80% off each one in the shape of an eyelid. my car was black, so they looked good in the day time, and at night the light would still shine through them (ac legend lights are not tall so the eyelid covered some of the lens). those things are paintable too, so you can always match them to your car. don't think they make them for our cars though, so that was just a lil' fyi for all the boys and girls out there
