crank sensor change

1993 Mercedes 300e 4-matic (m103 motor)
crank sensor change

ok i'm gettign ready to change my crank sensor later on today. Can i get to it from the bottom of the motor, or am i going to have to take off the intake manifold? also is there anything i should know or look for before/while doing this?

I thought it was by the flywheel... I would secure some pics before doing it if it were me.
