Buying E320 Sportline 95'

Hi all,
I just saw an original 95' Sportline. Had miles of receipts from new although the last receipt @ 170,000 klms has me wondering as the fault was "no power". The workshop replaced the Throttle Housing as it caused damage to the control unit. The car also had 9 hours of fault diagnosis testing at MB dealer so it had a real problems and the invoice stated the throttle body was second hand for over $4000.00. I was just wondering if any other major problems could occur and if this was part of the wiring harness issue. The rest of the car seems in good order and would appreciate any advice. Which model year is best to buy from a total reliability viewpoint?
Thanks, Mark :bow

Go Sportline if you can. The seats and the fittings in general are nicer. A faulty wiring harness could trigger a host of error codes but be careful.
