Anyone...how do you set the memory buttons for a radio station on our factory stereo?

I'm not an idiot, but it seems that it is nothing like most where you go to the station and then press and hold the memory button you want. Any ideas?

Confused...

On most the basic factory Becker models you do press and hold, however, the prior programed station or dead air will play when you first press it. Most, hearing the old preset release thinking it's some other method.

Tune the desired station press and hold the channel #, ignore the prior preset and after a couple seconds It beeps and the desired station will lock.

Strange but true >> try it.
