f:18x8.5 +35/ r: 18x9.5 +35 on '95 Wagon

Newbie here and sorry to jump in your post. I thought to just ask here instead of starting a new thread. I did my search but could not find the answer. I'm about to pick up a 95 E320 wagon and was wondering if the setup above will work if the suspension is lowered? I am willing to roll the rear fenders. Thanks in advance.

Yes, will be lowering soon as I get the car. Just wondering if anyone knows what size this wagon is running in the rear...

I've had 18x8.5 with a offset of 25 on my E420 with
225.35.18s.
my second set of 18s were also 8.5 but with an offset of
35. same sized tires as well.
It's been a somewhat good learning experience....
but now I'm rockin 16x8 wheels.

When you say, "It's been a somewhat good learning experience...." does this mean the 8.5" did not work out too well?

to be truthful.....
I don't think it did.
Fender rolling and pulling is not fun when you have
to get it done multiple times.

Had the same experience when a friend got a set of original mono 2's, 7.5 et35 & 8.5 et30. We tried mounting it even if it was past midnight. Front was perfect but when we mounted the rear, the lip of the damn wheel was right below the the fender lip. The next day he sold it to a friend with a w126.
