94 E320 lights on a 91 300E

Anyone try this before? My buddy just swapped his lights on his E320 and said hell give me his old stock ones for a good deal. Question is, do they fit on my 300E? I hate the stock lights, anyone upgrade to projectors and wanna sell their 1 pieces on the cheap?

Yes, they will bolt right in no problem, except the lens is shaped to follow the contours of the 94' hood...looks a bit odd but yes, they are a direct bolt in job (sans the wipers if you have them; you'll need the wipers and motors from the 94' and the trim panel from a 94' with wipers...can't use the 91's)

You can easily find new knock-off euro-lites cheap enough as well, with the correct lens shape for a 91'.

Yep, HUGE improvement in lighting with the 94' and up W124 lights.

You left out ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING!

You will need the euro prong 6 socket adapter for the headlights to work, without this, you're pretty much out of luck as you will not be able to plug and play.

Yes, if he uses the euro-lites he will need the $2 adaptors. I did forget that major tid-bit ...my bad. He won't need to splice anything...just re-arrange the wires.

Not necessary with the USA lites from 94' into USA car 91' tho...plug and play.

If you don't decide to take them, tell him I would be interested.

Thanks

The 6 pin plug is not really a euro piece, its actually the same part number as the passenger side tail light plug, you would just need two of those
