Looking for European Headlights??
I have a 1988 300CE and I'm looking for a pair of European Headlights. Anybody know where I can buy them?
I bought a brand new pair of Chrome Clear Headlights from the internet, but they sent me the wrong merchandise, and its non-returnable. I want to sell them. It fits for 300E and 400E according to the previous seller. Anybody interested?
Thanks.

About $249.00 per set and you'll need the blanking plates because you will not be able to use the wipers unless you modify the Euro headlights.
Katmac sometimes lists on EBAY and you may be able to buy better then their website.
Manufactuer is TYC...not as good as OEM Bosch, but decent quality with glass lens.
Recently installed on my 1988 Coupe.

My car has 4 prong plug adapter for the headlights, I was wondering if u have the same as mine? Since, the European Headlights I bought have 6 prong, would it be possible to modify it?

There are two 6 pin housings you can purchase. One heavy duty version with a separate cap (which is ordered separately) and one less substantial single piece rendition. Either does the trick... what you do is just open up your current four pin assembly and swap the wiring into the new 6 pin housing.
Total cost might be two or three dollars.

The Euro lights also have a supplied "city" lamp, that is part of the new plug wiring and you must tie into your parking lights.
Only item you need to purchase from Katmac is the wiper blanking plates

WOW, did the price go down substantially in a couple years or did I get absolutely OWNED on my purchase? Take a multiple of $249 and I could have bought one housing, let alone the full set.
