Yes, me too: I saw one but funds didn't allow!!

Early last year I viewed an E320 Cabriolet with 5 speed manual - didn't look bad with 155 K KMs for 15K Euro.

Sadly, I was short at the time and the 300CE was getting investment.

Oh well!

In the U.S., the 5-speed was only offered on the W124 with the M103 and in model years 1986 and 1988. Tough to find in decent condition.

Best of luck in your search.

Walt Anderson (past president of MBCA) has a 1994 with a stick...I drove it at a National event once and have seen it several times in several years.

Yes, pretty rare cars but very few people did order them with manuals up until the end of the US market for them.

If only the 500E could be had with a 5 speed !!

Was Walt's '94 Green in color? I knew he had an '86 with the manual, but didn't realize his '94 was too.

Thanks for the info!

His 94' is grey if I remember, pretty non-descript color anyway....actually the car has a ton of miles on it (250K-ish), not in particularly good shape and he drives it pretty darn well (hard).

If you know him or of him you know he usually takes the class win in that car at the National events and is right up there in auto-x and track times with the 'performance' MBs.

Last time I saw Walt was just prior to him getting hitched and moving to the SW.
