Angry Help!!

hey guys i have a 300e 86 model and my spark plugs keep getting covered in oil instantly and also i have drops of oil coming out of the exhaust.is this a valve stem seal problem or something else?

my mechanic said $3000AU to do a top end rebuild which would apparently fix this problem is this necessary?

regards
Kris

It could be valve guide seals. That is somewhat common on the M103 engine.
