Door lock knob - w124
guys,
can the w115's door lock knob (long one) be used in w124? The reason is to accommodate the need of unlocking (opening) door despite unavailability of central lock.

I think the lock buttons are pretty much the same. Try it. MB is good at using parts for years. Just the other day I looked up a steering coupling for an 81 380SL and the part # goes back to /8 series cars of the late 60s and early 70s.
