Now im in a lil problem

unfortunatly, i hit a dog the other morning going to school. poor thing.

It tore a whole in my bumper, so now i need something new. So i guess its not That bad.

The top part of the bumper is fine, but the bottom slits are missing about an entire foot.

So now im looking for just the front part of a lil kit... talking to a friend, we might get a scrap bumper off another car and rig it up to fit. Probably end up fiberglassing something onto the old bumper, untill i find/buy something that i really like.

AMG GenI would look better on your car than the AMG GenII.

Havent seen it, or a body.
so im hoping that IF it even had a family, they found it and burried it.
and if it didnt have a family, hopefully it walked away.

tried to swerve so it didnt hit the tire, no blood anywhere... just a patch of fur.
if hed hesitated for half a second i could've went around him... *sigh*

EDIT: Ya, i love the GenI kits, but i seem to have a hard time finding one around my price range. Figure i can be cheap now, i have the feeling ill ned up keeping this car for a very long time so i can change up the kit later on in life when i win the lottery or invent something amazing like sticky notes.

might end up buying that bodykit i mentioned on my first post on here.

dont remember seeing a response as to how he knew its a TE kit and why it wouldnt work on mine.
800+ total...

....and if it doesnt fit
Fun with Fiberglass!!

Dont go to a circus if your afriad of clowns

and I did scroll down and look, didnt see anything.

And if you wanted to insult me, think of something usefull.
as in
"Well why dont you watch were your going next time and dont hit the dog"
or
"Learn how to drive"

but anywho.
Thanks for all the Positive feedback.

just finished compounding and waxing..
didnt think it was worth starting a new thread, but i couldnt let it go untold.

pictures up tomorow, and probably going buy a buffer cause doin it all by hand sucks..
but going through by hand i think my paint isnt original. chips around then edge of the front light, and little specs on the top part of the door. idk, ill have to really look it through tomorow. could just be the clear coat starting to screw up.

Ima have to take out a loan for all this mess...
but itll look so good.

The reason he said it wouldn't fit is because judging by the pictures, the seller shows an AMG GEN 2 kit for a wagon, not a sedan.

You can distinguish it by the rear bumper. on the sedan it (rear bumper) sits flush, and looks very subtle, the wagon in the meantime has a more "ducktailish" look to it, Ala AMG GEN I for both sedan and wagon.

Floodkid, look at the top of the rear bumper on the TE kit....there is an opening to allow for the rear hatch to open and close. Sedans don't have this gap.

Sedan:

Wagon/TE:
