Body kits

Ok so it kills me everytime i look at my car without a body kit after seeing all the cars with kits.

So i looked around, best one i found was on Ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB....cWAT.m240.lVI

So i was wondering were did everyone get there kits at?? and how much did it cost ya?

Got my kit straight from AMG Germany through the Dealership.

Costed me roughly $3,600. Saved a little bit of money considering the fact that it cost about $4,000+ retail.

FYI: if that kit is exactly like it's auction pictures - it's for a W124 TE, not an sedan.

TE's have a different rear bumper. It looks like the one listed in the auction pictures.

Plus. I have the AMG GenII kit so I know what the rear looks like for the Sedan.

Here's a picture of my Rear AMG bumper.

Demec kit really is nice, the fender vents can be purchased at Erbuni Corp for 250 bucks.

Just keep in mind you do get what you pay for these days - especially with replica kits. The prep work you'll have to do and etc, etc, etc will all eventually add up.

before shipping...
if 5 or more people order kits they will probably do about $50 off each kit for the group buy. kits will take about 2 months or so to get to you.
one thing on these wald kits though, they are VERY fragile fiberglass, to the point you can actually see light shining through the joins in the kit, so keep that in mind if your car is a daily driver...

I definatly like the squared off lights than then curved ones on the front.
Looked at a bunch last night.

biggest problem, i havent won anything from the Mcdonalds monopoly game yet.

and im leaning toward smaller investments. Projector headlights and crystal taillights. $400 for lights compared to $4k+ for bodykit and paint.

still love looking for the kits, keep fingers crossed that ill find one for cheap.

Stay away from the replicas you'll end up paying more in the long run for bodywork and fab just to make it fit and look right. Just keep cruising Ebay OG kits pop up there from time to time for cheap.

I need an AMG GEN II rear bumper...could be authentic or replica....rear bumper never gets messed with like the front so it doesn't NEED to be poly. That ebay kit is a gen 2 rep but they only sell kits, right?

Where can the Demec kit be sourced, that rear is MUCH nicer than the AMG Gen II!!!

Directly from Demec I believe. www.cksperformance.com USED to stock the Demec kit, which is where I found it. I still want this kit... One day, it will be mine

Try to email them zorro, I think they MAY speak english, or hit up www.cksperformance.com and ask them.

Let me know how far you get?

Mark, how serious are you on purchasing a rear real or replica AMG GenII rear bumper? I can source you one for cheap.

Count me in too if you can source a couple of them - the wide body conversion definitely needs a lower (and wider) rear bumper...
