What topic?
Was there a theme here? I thought your car was already running. It ran in the video, what happened to it?

Red Crushed Velvet? You could probably find a cool red steering wheel off an '82 Oldsmobile that would really top it off! ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

Seriously, where would you use red crushed velvet in a Benz? I can't picture it. I don't think you could find crushed velvet anywhere in Germany except maybe großmutter's drapes. But then, I like things pretty much stock so that's just me.

Rio, you do provide interesting posts seeing these snotty cars from a different view. We need to be reminded of artistic not practical vision for our cars. How about the guys that "painted" their Mavericks and Gremlins by gluing down green Astro-Turf? They had the calling you share. Ah, the 70's.
Red Velvet is fine if you or your buds don't smoke. Dropping a cig on velvet is not a good thing at 70mph.
About that paint though, gallons should be quarts. The paint guy will be delighted to sell you a couple gallons but you may point out you're painting a sedan not a ship.
I'm glad to know the car is comfy if I ever need to sleep in her. Thanks for the tip and don't let our wives know.

^ You seriously want an answer to that?
You didn't shower did you, Rio...![Puke](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/puke.gif)
JK!
I admire your aspirations for your car. I have no motivation to work that hard any more. The red velvet will look good in the center of the seats. I was picturing a Buick when you first mentioned it!

lots of cars
hey, get off his back! I'm sure that west coast customs will do a very nice job with that crushed red velvet.
Pshhh I still have Louis Vuitton that i haven't taken off the headliner because i'm lazy. I still think the ultrasuede looks good on the back of my seats. If you read my early posts i was once like him but now i'm going to be 24 and a lot has changed. I'm sure he will have a very nice car in 3 more years....
How can i forget about my marble center console...
