early christmas present to me, from me

just arrived used H&R springs from eBay. still look like they are in awesome condition. All I need now are the Bilstein Sport Shocks, but that will have to wait until 08 because I am poor, and Rock Band > Shocks. hahaha

I like how they put "100% Made in Germany"

As opposed to? 75% Made in Germany?

Kinda silly haha.

Nice Melvin!

Swing by my pad whenever you get those suckers installed. Haven't seen you or your clean *** ride for awhile.

got them on ebay for $200 shipped. Would have been a LOT less if you ****** didn't keep bidding at the last minute! hahaha but thats the way ebay goes.

appatula, as soon as i install them, you'll see pictures but i still need to buy the shocks so it might be a while..

Chris, I cant wait to get these suckers put on too. Springs, shocks, and your swaybars are all going to be going in at the same time

haha. Who's doing the installl?

If you're doing it yourself - Let me know if you need to borrow the spring compressor. The difference will be night and day once everything is installed.

nah no way I could do it myself. I was going to take it into TWS once I get all the parts (or just have sanders order the shocks once I have the money). I'll hit you up for sure once I get this car to be where I want it.

So after buying rock band (which is awesome) i also have the bilstein sport shocks to go with my H&R springs! the guy also included the shock mounts which is nice

Hopefully these will be FTMWFMF!!! even though Chris thinks they are, and I quote, "FTMFL!" (the H&R springs that is)

Your suspension setup isn't FTMFW or FTMFL.

It's FTMFHUAPTDTOFFS!

(For the mf hurry up and put the damn things on for f sake! )

yeah HMS sounds koo, will this Friday Feb 1st work for you?

Quick question, will I need to get a rear camber kit? The drop 'should' be around 1.5in and my friend told me that I shouldn't really need them unless I plan on slamming the car. any thought on whether I need one or not?

I have the same exact suspension setup. Unfortunately, I went through my first set of tires pretty quickly. The rears wore on the inside edge, indicating that I should've bought a camber kit.

So fwiw, I would get a kit and install it at the same time. I bought the benzboy camber kit but have been too lazy to install it! lol

If you rotate your tires frequently (more frequently than recommended in this case), you'll probably be fine.

I agree, but what do I know. I would also ask around for tips about the spring pads that were used on the same set-up, since that can be an expensive pain in the neck to redo if you don't like the way your car sits after everything is installed. I think I remember that H&R lowered the front more than the rear, so guys were running an extra bump in the front. I have Eibach, so I don't know for sure.

For one thing, you will only need one alignment $$ if you do everything at the same time.
