Can 114mm wheels be used on 112mm hubs?

I realize I'm probably trying too hard, but I've got a line on a nice looking set of wheels for my wagon, but the wheels are 114.3mm and I know M-B uses 112.

Any way to make that work, or am I trying to force a square peg into a round hole? I know that Fiat guys use something called "wobble bolts" to mount 100mm wheels on 98mm hubs. Can it be done? Is it worth it?

no, it can't be done...wouldn't recommend trying to make wheels fit like that at all! some people think they can get away with 5x115 wheels on 5x114.3 but i still wouldn't do it. You don't want to mess with wheels since they can have all sorts of problems and damage your suspension and bearings.
