Interior Lighting Question
What are the sizes of the bulbs in a 94 e320? Isnt it 39mm...or 42mm? I want to replace my dome, puddle, and instrument cluster lights with brighter bulbs. I'm pretty sure they are originals...so they could use replacing.
Also, are there any out there in a bright blue, or white without being LED?

Well the only reason I wasnt considering LED's is the labor involved. Is it just a plug and play? Or for instance, do i have to get one of those converters for when you upgrade your license plate lights to LED's? I'm not sure..
SOrry that might not have made sense. But where can I get the blue/white bulbs for the dome/maybe puddles?

It's a 42MM in the front and rear dome light I believe. I remember the dome lights were the biggest bulbs I had to change when I switched all the bulbs in my car to LEDs.
Door lights are 36MM

LED's are getting popular in the auto market. Instrument cluster replacements are drop in without any adaption and produce much brighter light over factory. They even fit with the MB prism socket.
They make them for dome and most socket types you can imagine. They use lower current than incandescent so for turn/stop applications will throw the dash, lamp failure indicator. The system sees an improper load.
The white lamps need to have several LED's clustered to produce equal or greater output. I'm betting the industry will move toward them for all factory lighting. Then they can hose us with dealer only modules.
The good - low temp, low current, long life and bragging rights. They react much faster then conventional. Good for brake lights.
The bad - color spectrum is different. White and blue are getting better but you know the "white" from those flashlights everywhere.

MARKY, I don't have a write up but to clear things up I just did all the bulbs and I'm still working on changing all the switches to LED's as they are all still stock. I bought all the extra switches to do the swap but just havent found the time and I'm still lazy.
Do you just want pictures of the LEDs installed and links to where I bought the LEDs?

plain on doin mine red, waiting to find some extra lights from a junkyard to make sure i dont mess mine up.

39MM for the Trunk and both interior dome lights.
36MM for all doors.
the small map light is a little bulb but I forget the exact size.

900x numbered bulbs are typically crappy output DOT North American spec. Hx bulbs are typically euro.
TO answer your question, your factory US headlights should be 900something and euro lights like factory euros or my projectors will be Hsomething
(H4 factory, H7 projectors)
