Protector Strips...

So My Incursion with the Beamer awhile ago did a little more Damage then i thought it did, I Came Home From Work and Parked my car out the Front, when i went to go inside i notice my L/H/F Lower Door protector Strip was missing, well i flipped swearing and carrying on (My Neighbours probably think im a psycho now)

Anyways I Found the Protector Strip Lying in the Gutter of my drive way (Thank god) It Must have Fallen off when i drove up the Driveway, I Tried Refitting the Strip and Noticed that two of the Clips that Were supposed to hold the strip on were broken and one Was Missing all Together

I Tried some RTV to hold the Strip back in place but it was a royal **** and kept Falling off

Now My Question Is If I was To buy New Clips how Exactly Would i attach them...I didnt see anything like Screws or bolts to hold the Clips on and i really dont want to use RTV Again and have it fall off and Lose the Whole Strip...They Seem to Be Rather Expensive

Any Suggestions Would be Helpful, Also Heres a Photo Just so You can see how bad it looks...(I Get Rather Embarrassed, and i reckon it makes my car look kinda old and nasty)

well mine falls off all the time.it sucks it stays on for a week or a month if im lucky. what i do is tap mine back in with a rubber hammer. it has stayed on for 3 months right now so im a little happy. i think i have a photo of mine missing

i found that in there is one {bottom right} on the door that screws out. it is a pain to get back in the Protector Strip but once in it holds the strip on the car well. you might be missing yours cant tell if you had one
i hope this helps

The End Clip on the Far right is the clip that seems to have snapped off, the two before it just have the plastic parts that hold the Strip in Broken....

Its Very Frustrating and i hate the way it makes my car look

I Might Just bite the Bullet and let MB of Melbourne Deal with it, I cant be bothered Stuffing around with stuff like this and i preferably dont want to cause any Harm to My car....im pretty rough and plastics tend to Frequently Break with me

Sixth ones down on that link are what you need I believe. To get the old ones off you need to push the round plastic piece in the middle of the clip all the way into the door until it falls out or find a way to pull it out as it pushes the prongs outward thus grabbing onto the door. The they will pry right off. They work just as a lag bolt going into a plastic expander when bolting into concrete if that helps at all.
