spray A)

Go with A. If you paint each individually it will always look like a kit. Fit the kit on the way it should, mold the tail, and spray the whole car...you will be happier with the overall finish in the end.

Norcal: Are you serious? It's a car. Drive it.

Jay9722: I don't know where YOU get things painted but I had my AMG gen 2 kit installed without a re-spray and it looks factory.

Just do it, ChristyPham!!

I know my opinion here is moot, but I think you have put this off far too long. I say get the kit sprayed and put it on. Keep the grill black too as it follows the AMG paint schemes.

Actually, the last time I talked to Chris, about to months ago, that's exactley what he was thinking. He said he would get another car to drive around for fear of getting into accident and not being able to replace the kit.

I'm with you...it's a car. Drive it.

LOL you guys are hilarious.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.

I'm leaning towards just painting it and getting it on pronto. Reason being is because if I were to respray the whole car - I would want to get another car first. I don't want to go through the whole rental car ordeal again since the E420 is my only car at the moment and last time it was a ***** to rent a car just so I can get my car service for a week not too long ago. I also think it's wasted money IMO. Plus, if I respray the car god knows how long it will take as there are always delays from what I've seen in the past with my friends. Then again - I'm not too worried about the whole accident scene once it's on - I'll be taking it A LOT more easily on my car. Drive slow and pimp it.

I still have a rather handful of parts to buy before I can paint the kit. I need to buy new chrome moldings, license plate delete panel and a bunch of those clips for the side panels because I know for sure we'll break them in the process of removing them off the car.

Well I didn't know there was an option C- no respray at all, just slap on the kit. That's definitely the best option if your paint is okay.

What would be the point of the respray otherwise? Just to get a good match for the lower body cladding? I assume you can find a good shop that will mix the paint carefully to make sure it matches first... So yeah, option C is definitely the best
