What should I do... (Paint Question)

After months of waiting and trying to figure out what to do...

...Should I...

A.) Wait and respray my whole car and paint my AMG kit at the same time.

or..

B.) Paint my kit now to get it on and respray later after I get wheels and etc.

What seems to be the better option guys? I'm almost coming up on having this kit for a year. Keep in mind - it's the full AMG GenII kit with even the Ducktail.

I'm learning towards B.) since some friends talked me into it earlier...

Also, Ditch the black grill and go with chrome Avantegarde grill?
Retain the chrome moldings for the front and rear bumper?
Black Chrome all the current chrome moldings?

If I do B.)...

I won't be installing the Ducktail since I plan on molding that to my car. So basically that'll be only done if I respray the car to save on cost.

Most likely.

People are saying to do Tex Grey in the end but I forgot how that looks.

I don't need a hack iPhone anymore. All I really wanted was a changable home screen and multi-person text messaging and Update 1.1.3 has all of that.

I say option A

Your paint is still in good condition so no need a respray now anyways. Hold off on it until you get the body kit and do it right with the ducktail all at once. Also keep the black grill...dont know what you should do about the chrome moldings though....

I'm doing A on my car. Waiting until the humid and wet season is over basically, then I'm off to the body shop!
Actually, would it matter? Cux the car would be baked anyway...

My vote is for A. Delayed gratification, biatch!

And "A" especially makes sense if you're only doing the respray for aesthetic reasons. If you have rust issues or something, that's the only reason I could see why you would go for "B", unless you're getting impatient.

Do it right, all at the same time. You'll save money overall. I might be misunderstanding, but if you do "B", will you end up painting the body kit twice? That's a big waste of money.

How much longer will it take you to save up the cash? You're probably plannin on spending what, like $5k?

all this time i thought your car was pretty much done and we were waiting for an unveil... it's been forever man! you need to get cracking asap, summer is almost back, you need to maximize p!mp time. though you live in cali so you have 365 days of balling, but still.
anyway, go with B, mount the kit and paint all the cladding etc. body color. your car will look great and you won't feel the need to repaint it all for a while, so while you wait for the rest of the bits like the wheels etc., your car will still look hot.

My vote is for option A. Take the time to get the kit fitted properly and then shoot the whole thing so it looks OG. Your car is too nice to look patchwork IMO.

Additionally, I think going to a chrome avantegarde grill insert with a blacked-out surround would look cool. I also think you should leave the chrome pieces chrome...just like God and M-B intended! LOL.

Neither if thats your everyday car. I wouldn't want to be rolling around with a kit. Who knows, someone might smack into you when its all done. That wouldn't be a good thing seeing as AMG kits are hard to find.
