warning lights
How do you reset these warning lights? I've replaced my oxygen sensor but the engine light remains on. I've also replaced the brake sensors and the brake warning light remains on. I've read for some BMW's you can disconnect the battery and tap it several time to reset warning lights. Does this apply to Benz's?

Actually the "check engine" warning light is lit in my wife's '91 300E and the "antilock" is lit in my '86 300E.
