I did a search to no avail. My 87 300D has a damaged rear view inside mirror and I got a replacement. It looks like the unit is held in place by two opposing pins on a spring. I'm guessing it just pulls down and vice versa for install. However before I impose my considerable bulk on the thing I thought it best to seek advice from others who may have gone this way before.
