SERPENTINE BELT (POLY V-BELT)
REMOVAL
Remove the locking pin (1) and turn the ring (2) to the left.
Remove the ring by turning the fan.
Loosen bolt (16) approx. 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
Belt Tensioner
Loosen tensioning device at nut (5) by turning nut to the left until the serpentine (poly V-belt) belt can be removed.
Remove the serpentine belt.
Serpentine Belt (Poly V-Belt) Routing
INSTALLATION
Install new serpentine belt in numerical order of diagram.
Tensioner Marking
Turn the pointer of the tensioning device to the marking (1).
Belt Tensioner
Turn tensioning nut (5) to the right until the pointer (13) is aligned with the marking (2, arrow).
Tighten bolt (16) to: 70 Nm (52 ft. lb.)
Examine seat of belt on the belt pulleys.
Install fan cover.

Thank you. Got the new one almost on, then found the dealer (MB) sold me the wrong belt. (short). Also can anyone tell me why every time they but in my VIN at the dealers it shows no such number?
