95 e320...sold the rest
I have 2 12" Kicker L7's and I have no problems with wiring disconnects. I'm hitting around 147db with my 1606d wired down to 1ohm. I'm using 2awg all the way back as well...and I have no problems as of yet

Do you have em in a Kicker box? If not.. how much volume does each L7 get ?

No, I built my own custom box and tuned it to 30-35hz depending on how I adjust the port.

And each sub has 3.8 cubit feet to itself

That amount of air to each L7 will make the ideal deepness . That's a nice range of tuning freqs.. How do you measure the tuning frequency, btw?

If your solder points are really breaking because of subs, I would argue that the problem was likely there before the subs came into play. That's not normal....

well to be honest, I think sound pressure levels and soldering joints are the least of our worries

you should, I did it from the start and i get a good amount of air through the vents. I have 1 kicker L7 in a 4cube slot port box tuned to 32 hz. i made a small box for my kappas and placed it where the 1st aid kit went. covered that box in grey suede to match the interior. looks fresh!
