ksing44 - whiners thread
So who here thinks we need a sticky thread for ksing44 so he can post all the w124 hate he wants in one convenient place?

for entertainment purposes and perhaps to quarantine the "hater" topics....sticky it if you must. But, I submit the following take:
As long as the topic is W124...anybody should be able to post whatever they want...albeit with a dose of responsibility and civility (if you wouldn't say it in person, you shouldn't post it) be the topic positive or negative based on their own personal experiences owning/driving a W124.
If you decide to post something that you know in your gut will be potentially unpopular, you should expect that others will debate it...and in some cases with little tact or civility of their own. Poster beware!!!
While agree that it is wasted keystrokes to simply "whine" about something, I fully disagree with beating somebody up for posting a tale about how something on their car failed or broke or cost a king's ransom to repair/replace. Other's will stumble across that post at some point and just might learn something that could quite possibly save them time or money...even if it is to choose a different make or model of car.

he needs his own thread, but he doesn't deserve to have it stickied. he can resurrect it every time a bird *****s on his hood, his car gets wet in the rain, he loses radio reception in a tunnel, or some other thing that is caused by poor mercedes engineering.

I was about to post that I love this site
You know, even though I swore I would not come back to this site back after one of my bad moments, I don't remember which one, I still love this place. I think this is actually becoming a cooler place than it was before. Not because of me, but because of you crazy knuckleheads that love your cars so much.
I was also planning to post a photo of my car totally filthy with road salt and with snowboards attached to my trailer hitch bike/snowboard/ski rack thing. My car looks so weird with that stuff hanging off the back. It doesn’t look so weird on a minivan or truck or whatever, but it looks a little crazy on my slightly lowered long looking W124. I was even going to tell everyone how well it cruised at 80+ mph into the Poconos this last weekend for some skiing/snowboarding. I had my son’s iPod connected with a cheap cassette adapter to my original radio and it sounded pretty good. My son and his friends had a great time and the car did a good job.
I'm really not so bad and I think you guys are OK too.

I'm 18......so that adds me to the list. I was more or less referring to the obnoxious "look at me" culture most teenagers fall into. This forum pretty much filters that crap out and will let a member know when he or she has crossed the line. I would like to believe that it is the older, and I may mention wiser members here influencing us.
