I turned 20 last month!

I'd be in for whatever. Do we need passports to get across the border?

That would be a mega-expedition, and you are able to enter Canada, but need a pp to re-enter US

Wolfie, Kelowna is a 3 1/2 hour drive from Vancouver. A great highway with a fun city at the end.
However, it would be a trip that would need lots of organisation. I would even suggest staying overnight.

Maybe a big group drive, another time. It would be a good event through MBCA.

At any rate, we should arrange something closer to home, for now.

As it is, next weekend, I'm leaving on Friday afternoon to get there. I would be too busy to organise any event.

Lets see what people come up with...

Yea I started working for him just over two years ago, still at it, and I bought the car from him right after I started there.

Not sure if I've ever met you. I'm not very good with names/faces, but I wouldn't forget a 124 like the one in your sig

Anyway I've been thinking of places to meet. The former G.I. Joes parking lot just off of the Guide Meridian in Bellingham would be a good place to meet before we head up to Mt. Baker. And if anybody wants to get lunch on the way down, we can take the Mt. Baker Highway all the way to Barkley Village (part of Bellingham for those who don't know). There are plenty of restaurants close by, and whenever everyone is ready to head for home I-5 is just up the road. And if the weather turns crappy on us I'd say that the cruise to Baker is negotiable...

So for a quick review:
Sunday October 4th, former G.I. Joes parking lot, Bellingham, at 9:30am

Attendees:
1. Wolfe190

They may not be on the car for the meet, need to have them refinished and the centers painted black. 18x8.5 and 18x10 25mm offset, will run 275/35/18 in the rear and 245/40/18 in the front

Wow, 10 inch rears!very nice.
Must be wide lips with 25mm offset.

Oct. 3rd there is SCCA racing and vintage racing events at Mission Raceway in BC. I might go to that (15 miles) from Sumas border crossing.

Dang. Would be really cool to have a meet. Are there any w124 or Mercedes clubs around here that go on drives/meets?

I used to work out there for a summer or so back in high school (~2003). Infact, don't you have the 16V seats? I did some work on those. I was also in Troop 7 when he was Scoutmaster and got Eagle there.

I don't know of any small clubs around... You could always check with MBCA, they usually have a meet every month I think.

Yea I've got a bunch of 16v goodies. Full interior, body kit, LSD.

Last year there was a big GTG on December 13th in Seattle. It was for Toys for Tots. It was a great meet, and I'm planning on going again. I just hope I don't get stuck in a snowstorm again

Ha ha, yes, but I just signed up for another year.

I think it's nice that they organised quilting contests for the MB owners wives whilst the Starfest was on.

We're waiting for snow again, or at least, freezing rain or sleet.

Well, I havn't heard anything about toys for tots, and the date would have already passed anyway I think...

Anyone interested in a Seattle GTG soon? We've started discussing it on 190rev
