Well you have to look at it this way. Most people don't buy Lambos just for performance, it's just to strut your stuff in and look good. I mean, yeah, if you have the money to mod it, then go for it. But otherwise, I think they're just for bragging rights.

But needless to say, a drop-dead sexy, and VERY fast car nonetheless.

I would tend to believe his claim of manufacture fault if this incident was reported or documented by other Lambo owners. Also his claim of being an experienced driver does not necessarily rule driver negligence or error out;
how many times have you seen professional race car drivers crash even the best do make mistakes and crash. His story sounds like he was out showing off his new Lambo and lost control.

Sounds like quite a few identical crashes, different countries, drivers, etc.

And even a specific failure condition that may be the root of the problem...

lots of cars
Well I've driven on a broken axle for a long time but i can't really see how the bolt would come off like that? When I changed my rear suspension i saw that it was pretty hard for the axle to give away. Even if the axle came off the car you would still have control of the car unless you where driving like a douche and going like 90mph...

from what i have been reading is that there is a warnning when you buy these cars that the 1st 3 months you need to be easy on the brakes or that they may burst in to flames. if you ask me id would never wast my money on a car like that in all of lambos life they have never built a car that has not cought on fire.

in a nother thing is that i feel that the problem is that the brakes on the cars broke in all the stories i have read it started by braking and the car doing a 90 degree crash if this is. it is odd but lambo has not sed one word at all and dose refuse to talk about it
