In a few years, buy yourself an E500.....Or buy a similar car that you have right now that is in good shape. It will save you money in the long run. Good luck, I hope all works out for you.

Second that.

If you love your W124 and wanna fix it up, wouldn't it be easier just to buy a 4 cylinder W124?

I mean 260E's are slow enough as it is so i dont think speed is on your agenda, so it would probably be the better idea to by the 4 cylinder Version

that would not work if you think of it in this way. my car has to much weight to it and adding a smaller motor would only put more of a load on that motor and get less if not the same mpg as i have now

i was thinking of getting a geo most the ones i find and test drove one to day for sale were nice but had alot of miles on them. i dont know im still thinking of it i mean to day i went 120 miles on 1/2 a tank

Geos are not very safe nor reliable, if you are going to get an efficient car, try and make sure you get one that atleast will protect you in the event you are invovled in an accident.

That's the Key Z. Sometimes you just gotta work a bit harder to get/keep what you want and patience is a virtue.
