I better hope you'd give 12K! Even if it were a normal CE with all these mods it would fetch way more than that.

^^ Ya this guy doesn't know what he's doing with not getting a proper re-spray and the gap in the bumper.
As for the interior....at least it's not Gucci print?
What do you guys think of those wheels? I'm almost in love with them. Too bad they'd be 9.5" in the rear though unless you pieced together a set.

in the description they state that it was made by AMG/Chicago . since when did amg come stateside. i thought that was what renntech was. i also thought that the 2v were only an option on the original s class hammers. and if this thing is a hammer why take off the mono I's. imho a hammer aint a hammer with out its mono I's.

AMG was in the US in the 80s/Early 90s. A guy named Richard Buxbaum had AMG North America on 233 West Ogden in Westmont, it was behind a Goodyear dealership as I recall. In fact Buxbaum pretty much started the AMG brand in the USA. Feyhl, of RENNtech, use to work for him in Chicago. Around the time M-B bought AMG Feyhl started RENNtech. Bill Taylor at Richmond Mercedes bought all the old AMG NA stock years ago off of Buxbaum.
There was also an AMG dealer called Performance Group International at 2310 Skokie Valley Road in Highland Park, Illinois in the late 80s.
A rear spoiler with AMG molded in was available, it was used on the Hammers and early W124 cars. Somewhere in storage I have one I think.
There was also a "wing" type spoiler that used a 3rd light off of some Mazda car of the period as I recall.
Only later, after M-B bought the name, did AMG go to a different style of logo.
There was also 8 different types of wheels in various sizes to be had. From 8.0 X 16 to 10.0 X 16 and various 17 inch ones. The wheel listed for the Hammer is a "8.0 X 17 Aero, Chrome, Signal Red Trim."
Kind Regards,
Ron
