Steering wheel Squeak
Hi my 124 has developed an annoying squeak in thehsteering wheel/column
only when you drive straight help with possible cause as it is pissing me off.

My 300TE has been squeaking in the steering this winter too. Anyone else had this happen and if so, what was the fix? My car seems to go down the road straight, so I wouldn't immediately guess a ball joint but I've been wrong before.

the squeek
my 300 TE also has the squeak. even after I solved the mouse problem, still there.
