the point was; college is not the anathema for all peoples economic woes. there are many who have graduated college who cannot get a job in thier field.

That is very true. I talked to a guy in Portland who had a masters degree, and was working as a waiter because there were no jobs available after the dot com collapse.

I am good at my niche, but I'm not a super genius or anything...
