New Engine for 230E
My grandma got this 89'230E, it been in the garage since she stop driving 2 years ago.
Now, I gonna put the car to use, the body is still solid, but the engine has gone bad.
I was thinking of putting a new engine, i am thinking of putting an E 500 in it. Is this possible? and What do I need to modify or change?

An E500 engine! Geesh! You might as well change the badge on the back! That would be quick!
I don't think that your 230's tranny will be able to handle that. You might need a new trans too.

I guess chupper is right, you must be kidding about that project.
If you want to have it as a project, try your other grandma, may be she has E500 where the body has gone bad and you can swap the power train, the chassis, the special body parts, the springs, the shocks, and and and ...
