FRS radio is a band of radio typically used by hand-held radios sold in most electronic stores.

Aka, walkie-talkies

I have a set.
You can use one, but you have to wear the Spykids visor and helmet, too.

Oh good that means I won't have to wash my truck heh. Maybe just the wheels then.

Is the plan to go down a bit further down south after the lunch or turning back around after? We could go to The Creamery at Bellis Fair after!

i heard a forcast for lowland snow possible on saturday night.

mb_inspired - I would like to go for a drive somewhere nice, weather permitting the whole "nice" part, but what is The Creamery? ice cream i'm guessing... Coldstone is also very good, and Mallards downtown is kind of a cool spot to hang out

I think we could discuss those things at the park or over lunch and see who's interested. Since many of us have not met or seen each other's cars before, I don't know really what to expect. Let's play it by ear, shall we?

I think some of the locals seem to know some good places to drive or go to.

We won't require 1 hour to get through the border, heh. I'll tell you guys a little trick that will help us to get through in half the time through Peace Arch.

You know, we could all meet as a group somewhere in Cloverdale too, off the 176 st exit.

Does everyone here have FRS radios?
176 or Coq. Ctr. - what works best for you guys?

Sorry, Big Pete, that's not the Lynden crossing. It's the Truck Crossing in Blaine.

Good. We seem to be gathering steam.

Stacy, the NW Regional Director of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America has e-mailed me that he intends to drive up from Portland for this, too.

Mark: Casey and Finnegan are looking in the 'Tickle Trunk' for those damn radios...

Looking forward to some great cars and mods, rain or shine!

A reminder, this is the spot - North parking lot, across from the beach.

I heard it might get as low as one degree above freezing in the morning, but I would think it will be warmer be the beach anyway - positive thinking, remember?

Owl Klocke had a lot of trouble finding work after the show was canceled.
I heard, a while ago, that he had been living on the street, as a crack addict, but now, he's totally clean, and leads a religious cult, somewhere in Oregon.
