No shortage of opinions on this site.

BTW - I like aftermarket exhausts on MB's. I had an 'aggressive'system on my 190 16V and I really liked it. It made that 170hp feel like a racecar. Many 190 people swear by Remus. I have Lorinser tailpipes on my 500E and heaven knows what 2phast has gotten into with his cars!
Best to check out his site, www.2phast.com for DIY mods, with pictures, on his 190E 2.6 and 500E.

Bring yourself and your car on Sunday. I guarantee that people there will tell you what you can go and do!

Which location do you want to meet at guys, Coq. Ctr. Mall or 176 exit ramp?

Anybody else looking to convoy down?

Wow thanks a lot for the link! Lots of good stuff on there. On my car I have a 2.5" catback system, flowmaster 50 series muffler and a magnaflow high-flow cat, just need to source some headers

We havn't really discussed it seriously but is anyone interested in a drive after our meet? I would love to go for a drive if anyone else does.

Wolfie;
2phast will be joining us on Sunday, he says.

I suggest you come up with some ideas about WHERE to drive. Perhaps you could come up with a route and pitch it on here, or when the guys arrive, on Sunday.
We'll have enough people, I'm sure you'll find some who want to join you, but they may not be as familiar with the area as you, a local.

2-Way Radios would be useful to bring.

Perhaps we should all bring 2-way radios with us, for convoys or longer drives?

Do most people have them?

So nobody's backing out are they?!!

It snowed out in Woodinville last night and the night before, but it didn't stick on the roads... not cold enough. So I think we'll be fine. As long as it's not pissing rain, we'll have a good time. And I'm happy that I don't need to detail the outside of my car!!! lol

I'll try to check out the Birch Bay Area this afternoon for a drive, otherwise there is a bit of freeway driving involved in going anywhere, and our options might be pretty limited due to the recent snow.

I heard they got 6 inches in Seattle yesterday!?!? But the forcast doesn't call for much if any snow here tonight.

Don't get your panties in a bunch. Your last 3 posts made no sense or were stupid gay smilies, offering nothing of value to the threads you posted in, that's why I said that...

Relax, Myron.

Hi Sean,

usually the best place for meeting up is the eastbound scales just after the 104 Ave onramp. Plenty of room for a group of cars so no one will be obstructing traffic. What time do you guys figure on being around there? If the meet is at 12 in Birch Bay I'd suggest leaving Coquitlam before 10.

Let me know,

Cheers!

You are the man, Wolfie! Whatcom Lake area? Chuckanut Dr. on the way back south, for those bheaded home that way??

Weather report seems to say - expect below freezing overnight, with very limited chance of precip all day and mostly sunny.

Any other Canucks wishing to meet up north of the 49th be at the eastbound scales on Hwy 1 (just past the on-ramp from 104 Ave in Surrey) at 10:15.

Sersiously... it rained then hailed then rained, then the sun peaked out, then it hailed, etc etc. Bizarre weather!

Got the grille done today. It's not looking as good as I'd hoped so I might scrap it. It was an aftermarket grille (didn't realize that) and the fitment is poor. The color-matched paint from Tower Paint again didn't match too well. Too silver this time (last time it was too gold... oh well!)

But I installed it for the meet, so you guys will have to tell me what you think. It would look much better with OEM fitment and a professional paint job.

See you guys tomorrow!

Yen-hsen, sounds like you guys are going to be ahead of us if you do that. If we depart Coq Centre at 10am (assuming everyone is on time), I don't think we'll be at that point till around 10:20. By the way, you'll remember me when you see me, heh.

We shouldn't have too many problems going through the border at Peace Arch. We'll just do the "Nexus lane to Duty Free, stop at duty free and buy a candy bar or a deck of cards" trick to skip some cars.
