So I went to the track last night...

I just got my car back out of the shop with a few performance mods done to her. Chip, intake, first gear start, ASR defeat (with button), exhaust, ported heads, and a spare set of drag radials...

Anyways...I ran a 15.98...good?

Bet your lighting looks like crap though.

PS chip and FGS are a waste of money on the W124. FGS happens all the time if you shift down or know your pedal's sweet spot. Chip does nothing...this isn't a car with a real tunable CPU.

What car were you running?

What were the rest of the numbers on your slip? 60', 1000', 1/8th, etc. I would have guessed low-mid 15s with the 320.

What was your trap speed?

Mostly, I agree with Mark except: the chip eliminates the electronically governed 155 speed limiter....not that I can think of a good time to go 155+ on a public street this side of the Atlantic, but hey. The other factoid: the nice thing with the FGSS module is that you get to program in the shift point out-of and into first gear. 3500 rpm from first to second is a real nice feeling in the E420...hehehe.

mine doesn't have a governor. but i don't think it'll do much more than 135.

so the top speed limiter is only really valid on the V8 models.

With my 103s I've been thinking about the first gear start for coupe and Sportline- How was the installation?

Some models require a module and some require a transmission valve body.

I liked my new photoshop image more until I saw Enzo next to it.

The module I looked at a week ago used a computer program to identify shift points, which sounded a bit challenging.
