LOL....

They are called HID's buy em on ebay..if you have us headlights, get the 9004 kit, if you have euros, the H4 kit. You need bulbs, ballasts and igniters.

600k is white. He said he wanted blue so he needs either 8000k or 20000k. I recommended 20000k b/c i had them on before my 6000k and they looked awsome just not the look I was going for.

I would SUSPECT he also wants to be able to SEE at night. 20000K would put out less lumens than his factory halogens.

6000K will be PLENTY blue and give superb lighting (4300 is factory HID and the best but not very blue)

20000 is idiotic IMO.

I agree. But you could still see plenty trust me. I didn't like the look so I switched to 6000k but it's not blue like you say it's white.

Dump those cheap bulbs and just get a HID kit and you will be much happier. 6000k will give you the blue look that you are seeking.

only expensive kits like Mtecs, Prolumens, and Philips, throw out a blue-ish color on 6000K kits. But I would as well get the 6000K because it's the best kelvin temperature for visibillity... Unless in your situation looks>visibillity.

so you are telling me that I can use my old style US lights and use an HID kit? I know the light output isn't as good, but sure would make the car stand out more

Yes! as zorro stated, you need a 9004 kit, but your light out put wont be the best, why not do a euro headlight upgrade at the same time.?

Hey In for Life...

I only have the bulbs and some cheap czech euros so I'm looking into this too.

I find my current 4800K's contrast with my Yellowish corners and I don't like that.

As to mounting HID's in your US lights, or perhaps even Euro's, the light will be scattered by the stock lens and not be effective - possibly even a hazard to other drivers.

I am unsure of these issues, and I'm hoping to talk to some people here to discuss options. I want to see some of the cars with aftermarkets, in person, this weekend.

Hopefully someone here can answer that question.

As long as you get something with a projector it won't be too bad. You will get a good cut off for the beam.
