I know it was called "Azure Blue" and it is metallic, but I don't really know the color code. I have also seen it refereed to as Azurite. Based on a post in this forum, it may be "366" Azure Blue Metallic, although I was not able to confirm the number by looking at all of the numbers inside my driver's door. There are lots of numbers in there, but I didn't see 366.

My car is bluer than the Mercedes midnight blue, but it seems very similar to my previous midnight blue Jeep Wrangler or midnight blue Ford F350 pickup. The color does change considerably in different light conditions, more so than I remember with the midnight blue colors on the other vehicles. Sometimes it almost looks like a very dark bluish purple.

Azurite from wikipedia is more blue than my car

Azure blue is the name...azurite is a rock...like you posted.

Color names don't always represent literally their color.

Pearl black like mine...I see no pinks or pastel blues in my paint, like a pearl has haha

Ksing, your color codes are stamped on a metal plate under the hood above the radiator/fan (or at least they are on my car). You may see your number there.

And agreed on the color name thing. Mine is "smoke silver". wtf? I guess mercedes is above the name "champagne". lol

I got my color code from the russian mercedes benz club website, and I found out about all the options my car had. It gave me a full report. I thought it was pretty cool.

Sounds like you know your roadways. I was actually hoping for a few corrugated pipes when they designed the bridge, but they said I had to be prepared for a 100-year flood. They said I couldn’t simply let the water run overtop of the pipes during extreme conditions. That was to be sure a fire truck could reach my house in a flood. Does that sound weird to you, having a big fire during a flood? Well, to be fair, I guess it was also in case an ambulance had to get to my house during a flood.

At the time of construction, they said that in my county only the bridges on the PA Turnpike were built to the same standards. It cost almost $20K for the bridge, not including the excavation that was part of the general contracting for the entire site. I sure would have liked to use that money to put toward other items during construction. Oh well, it all turned out OK and there really is quite a bit of water that comes down the stream. I like my bridge. It was lots of fun for my son when he was little and it still seems to attract little kids from the neighborhood.

Since we are on the subject, I actually designed my own little plastic house. It was based on my brother’s house, but I tried to squeeze my parent’s floor plan into my brother’s basic structure. At the time of construction, my brother lived next door, so I was trying to keep things in reason. He since moved to giant new house, so I guess I really didn’t have to be so conservative. Then again, I am very pleased that I kept the house within reasonable limits. My parents still live next door, which is literally over the river and through the woods.

Back to other things, I want to go to St. Croix!!!

Ksing44,

That all seems somewhat reasonable since the government always knows what's best Most of the time I give people the benefit of the doubt, but not with state agencies that have logic like that. If a flood is that bad, I don't think the authorities are going to be using a fire truck to rescue people, they will use boats anyways...

I have built a few of these culverts (highway size) and that does look like it is up to DOT standards, mighty nice, it will probably outlast the house.

Id say Dogwood or Cherry Blossoms. The yellow bush in the first picture is Forsythia, a very pleasant smelling plant, but it has a habit of growing rampant. It took over most of our family's yard before we cut it back.

You are correct. The white blossoms are cherry blossoms. They are actually a very light pinkish white and it is a wild cherry tree, which looks slightly different than other non-indigenous cultivars. The dogwoods will come a bit later in the spring. The forsythia and the cherry are the first to bloom and are always very welcome signs that spring has sprung.

I think it might be more fun to talk about Misa Campo than my trees and box culvert.

LOL, thanks. I've got a thing about cherry blossoms and driveways.

That's right!!! I did a small whoring session over on myMB about how I'd love to have a driveway lined with cherry blossoms. Drive down it with the top down in my SL65 and SLR Roadster. I thought I was the only weird person that thought it would be cool.
