windshield leak

i recently found the source of a leak that occurs during heavy rain; whenever the car is left out in the rain my floor mats get soaked, and my e-brake pedal seems wet. well, it appears as if my windshield molding(the rubber piece that goes all the way across the bottom of the windshield, on the outside of the car) is seperating from the glass itself. this is allowing water to flow under the rubber piece and into the cars internals as opposed to over it and into the cars "gutters." anyone dealt with this issue? or know how i can remedy the situation.

Same thing happened to me. I didnt want to get a new seal, so I got some clear sealer and just put an even coat all along the bottom.
