ok. maybe a few pictures says more than a thousand word's
I just cut the w210 bumper in half, I allso cut away 2 inches from the middle. bcause the w210 bumper was otherwise to wide. then I mounted it on the w-124bumper.

Wow. What an expensive way to update a bumper. So you just fitted the whole contraption over the w124 bumper, or are they some how molded together? Also, do you plan on selling it?
I like the way you chose to go though, the 500e bumper looks very nice. Thanks for the pictures too man

I can say this: the w210 bumper cost me like 220 dollars. it wasn't a stock part, but what the hell.
well I just used the below part of the w210 bumper and molded it together with the upper w124 bumper. they were welded together (plastic welder)
well I allready sold it. and still if I got It left I think that the shipping would be really expensive.

sweet ride man...when's the dual exhaust coming?
get some laminex on those headlamps asap! i have had some bad luck with those. i was probably one of the first ones to purchase those, if not the first. they looked good for a couple of years but they started to haze up. it seemed like the insides of the lenses were starting to crack. i tried to cure it with some Meguiar's PlastiX but was unsuccessful. maybe it was caused by the PIAAs i installed, though they were the correct wattage.
lastly, careful when you adjust them. they can somehow become dislodged when adjusting them and they are extremely difficult to get them working properly again. they become all bouncy and loose like.
thankfully the tail lights haven't given me any trouble. did you get the L.E.D. powered ones?

lots of cars
I have an SL and a S Class Bumper at home but the angles are just plain wrong and this time in going to do a w210 Brabus front lip on my w124. I wonder if a w202 bumper would fit better?
