Want your opinion on a mod

Toward the end of summer I will be doing a repaint of my car after fixing some body issues. I think I am going to keep the color but paint the side skirts and bumper covers to match. I was considering trying to find a quality duck tail but I am not sure how it would look on this car with this color. I will also in the future be lowering 1.5 inches (max) and going to 17 rims and the bumper covers will most likely be something other than OEM. Let me know what you guys think and if you have seen that set up before and if it looked ridiculous or good. I am in Chicago and I have not seen any 124s with mods other than tint and rims.

Thanks

lots of cars
So right now your car is champagne gold? I used to have a 300e in that color and the first thing i did was to buy tail lights that where half black and half red. I also tinted the windows and put black rims on it. Clear turn signals was a must and sprayed the front grille black too. I've never seen one with a body kit so i can't really imagine how it would look. You'll be the first one to do it so good luck!

Smoke Silver has the nicest two-tone out of any w124, so IMO keep it!
smoke silver + ducktail = Weak look

With your color I think a ducktail is a little too aggressive. Since you have a 94 I'd say get clean corners, maybe an advantgarde grille (or paint the plastic on yours black), a modest drop, and some clean one or two piece wheels. "Everyone" has them but amg blocks dont look too small in 17.

I think monotoning the paint would be nice though!
