Radio codes
I would like some help in getting the radio in 91 CE to work.
when power was pressed, radio read out was CODE.
Yesterday my wife decided she could figure it out and put in 1111* and now the unit reads "waiting"
Does any one have the correct codes to input so it will function?

They have it, but will charge you for a code card then mail it to you.
If you try a few wrong codes, you get locked out for a day (I think 24 hrs).

if you can pull out the radio you should be able to get a serial number off it along with the cars VIN call your local dealer and they should be able to pull up the code for you.

Dealers
are getting very wary of doing it over the phone.People steal the radio copy the vin from the door and off to the races they go.So it may take a trip to the dealer.

I think the unit gives you a number of tries, then locks out for a while (15 mins?). You should get the code from a dealer. Show them the title or registration as proof of ownership.
If you've ever had work done on the car, sometimes they'll have the code written on the work order.
