Here are the 334x32mm on a 500E. These are 129 silver arrow brakes.

Thanks for the picture. That helps a lot! I could grind down the ball joint and add some spacers to the calipers. Also, I know there was a PDF file that i can't find that shows the sizes of all mercedes rotors. Could anyone provide me with one.

I was also thinking about the offset on the rotors because some rotors are the same size but different.

I think the v6 master cyl is big enough since im not going to track the car. It don't even drive faster than 75 because of my wheels and the *****tty freeway i drive on to work.

Would making these fit on a 93 300ce be any different?

This is the pdf your talking about I am sure. Mad props to GSXR (I think or maybe Austin I can't remember) for making this, I hope he doesn't mind me posting all his stuff haha. Someone put a lot of time into these and they need to get credit. If you can't get it to work with that sheet then I would give up :p

Still keep your eye out for the master cyl because the I6 one doesn't move as much fluid so you may not get 100% braking power with the increase in caliper size if your going from the single pistion to these huge 4 piston. Especially when you put the big 300mm set on the back

I think i'll skip on the 300mm rear brakes and add a proportioning valve some how. I'll do a test fit of the brakes with some s-class 330x32 rotors.

You can pick the valves up cheap, the trick is to get the lines sorted without having to cut them. You can get hard brake line at most parts stores in varying length. You don't want to cut your existing unless you have a line flairing tool.

Yeah I have a line flaring tool. I made a big mistake when i ran the lines for one of my mustangs. I flared it but forgot to put the hardware on first. The other side was already done so i had no choice but to cut it and i got lucky that the was enough length to flare it again.


Don't mean to change subjects but what is a good price for a 300ce with 140k and would these brakes bolt on that car?

ok, so i made some decisions. I'm going to upgrade to a sl500 300x28mm front rotor and r129 ate caliper which is basically the same as the 500e. I'm wondering how would 300x22 on the rear would look and work?

Any good place to get stainless steel brake lines?

I'm also looking for these but i guess they are super hard to find...

Those are whats I have on my car. Most of them got replaced because of resonance issues. I have been trying to find a pair that "don't work" so I can modify them so they operate properly again. The problem is they reach the resonant freq of the caliper on the highway and then squeeze the pistons out which fries your pads and rotors. So most of them got replaced with iron ATE's SL500 and 600 brakes.

Do a google for Troutman, thats the place I heard to get SS Benz lines.
