GL 620, what car do you have? Also, your wheels do not rub with bilstein sport shocks and vogtland springs. I was thinking about getting Bilstein HD and hr lower springs ... how is the ride? 1-10.

I have the 93 300e. They said HD aren't good if you have lowering springs. That's the reason why I didn't buy an HD Bilstein. Vogtland springs, drops your car aggresively. About 2" so far.
My ride is a 9. Drive's really smooth actually. not bouncy at all. The only thing is, you have to be careful hitting bumps. I have the Carlsson 1/6 original. 18 8.5 +38 offset.

New Bilstein HD's went in the rear about 6 months ago, the KYB's in the front will eventualy need to go but this still puzzles me? Could there be something very wrong with my rear end?

As far as I know. Every w124 suspension is sorta different. Because I had the same question as you have now awhile ago. I was just looking at your pictures from your link. Those are updated pix right with your HD shocks already installed? Have you ask ZorroAMG or ChrisPham? They are pretty knowledgable.... For me, I pretty much played with my fitness until I got it right.

How is the fitment of that 9.5 wide wheel with the 22mm offset. Do you have a pic of how far the wheels stick out?

I'll look for it. I know I took one. And I remember it was about 1/2 - 1 inch out. But, my solution was to add a custom fender flare. if it sticks out alot more. I know a custom body shop that will customize it for me.

You can cut around the inside of the quarter panel and push it out for an extra 1/2 inch. You can also get some front fenders and cut them out so you can make a flare out of it.

Huh That sounds like a great idea actuall never thought of using another fender as a flare. Thanks... But, that's probably a little pricier than buying carbon fibers flares?

I have 17x9 all around the car, with 225/40/17 in the front and 235/40/17 in the back, but you can fit the 235 tires all around the car... I only role the front fenders and thats all...
