260E A/C Problem

My 260E is having an Air Conditioning problem. The system isn't getting cold. The system has been converted to 134a years ago. We connected the system to a low pressure gauge and it seems to be holding around 35 psi. The compressor is cycling on and off. A friend of ours says it might be the receiver drier and another said it might be the expansion valve. Any ideas where to start or things to look at?

How long since your last recharge? They need to be done every 2 years.

In terms of full evacuate and recharge about 2 1/2 years ago. But when connected to a pressure gauge it says its ok.

Doesnt matter...get a recharge, have them put the dye in, then when it empties, they will find the leak and usually not charge for the next recharge if they do the work to fix it.
