The deal was NEVER 100% so how did I skip you out on a ducktail.
![crazy](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/crazy.gif)
Just because I didn't get back to your thousands of PM's asking about the ducktail doesn't mean you can openly post on the forums that I "skipped" out on your ducktail when it was never yours to begin with. Ducktail went to forum member "190E 16V." I told you if there was one AVAILABLE it would be yours.
The last set of ducktail I have is for a CE and is missing one end piece.
Thanks.

but after you said that you had a sale pending in your original ducktail-for-sale thread, you pm'd me... we're not allowed to post pm's, but to paraphrase, you had one 'reserved' for me, because you 'had my back' since we were 'both OG, foo'. you also told me that the other one you were selling was on behalf of someone else, and i was sorted. you also quoted me a price, which i agreed to, and that was the last i heard... so to me i felt you 'skipped out', but i guess i must be mistaken. i'm stoopid like that.
if you had just told me after my first pm it was sold, then i would not have sent you the other pms... not sure why you left me hanging without replying to them when it was obvious i was still under the illusion that the ducktail 'reserved' for me was still reserved!
and that's why i assumed you skipped out on me. i ended up not buying the replica i was thinking about, so i'm SOL.
anyway, forget it. not enough of us here to have drama, but if anyone else knows where i can get one, real or not, i would be most grateful...

Anyways, Back on topic - the Strut bar is cool and all but I think it's more for looks as it didn't really leave me a good impression once I installed mine - It would work a lot better if I didn't have the rubber shock tower and adjustable camber plates.
You're better off with RDM Adjustable Strut mounts. Omegabenz sells them and they are top notch.

I'm going to get a set sometime this summer and ditch my Weichers sport bar...

hahah dibs on the strut bar then!
but i dont get it... the shock tower is for adjusting the suspension geometry etc... how does it tighten the chassis from flexing?

Fair enough - My apologies for not letting you know - I hardly get back to anyones PM or post as much since I've been busy with work. I'll try to source you another one but no promises.

Wassup bro, do you know anybody local to us that can install the RDMtek's?
That's the only thing holding me back from getting them. By the way I stopped by HMS to drop the Infinity, they were good peeps.

The shock tower or strut tower as designed is only a fixing point for the upper stud on the strut.
It has no adjustment
The strut bar connects the two towers which then makes the engine compartment more rigid laterally which in turns prevents flexing.
For 99 and 44/100 of the posters on these forums it's no more then show....
You can fabricate one yourself, a lot cheaper then what this one is selling for...
Used to do it years ago on race cars...
