Damn bro. That's a mean drop. I have vogtlands on my car. And I still have the stock spring pad. It's perfect for me. 1 finger doesn't fit on the fronts. But almost 2 fingers fit at the back. Perfect cuz I could still fit people at the back no problem. Hey do you know were I could pick up the 500e front bumper and rear and side skirt. It looks nicer than mine. Or are they the same?

hey, what bump pads are you running front and rear??
i think i might have to put my vogtlands back on the front, because your car is sitting very nice right there...
edit:
here are some panels for you

Love the rims...who sells them new still? ...or are they used? I am still looking for that rim in 18x8.5" for my 500E.
I have a new set of wiper-less panels that you could have...they are like 10-12$ from a dealer but you'll need to get them painted to match.

Well, I have vogtland springs suppose to drop 1.6 fron n rear. And I still have the stock spring pad which are #4's. My fron is lower because my struts at the front are worn. It rubs a little bit. On the freeway and during freeways exit when its curved.
I have to do smaller on my tires actually. I have 225/40/18. Probably need 205. It doesnt rub inside te fender. So I don't need to roll it. It rubs on the side of the fenders.

so before doing any fine tuning of your suspension whatsoever, replace your shocks and struts. Bilstein sports are probably the best shocks for lowered w124's. It will definitely change your ride height.
I put my H&R's on a year before putting on the bilsteins and I definitely regretted it. By the end of that year, my car was bouncing all over the place and I blew through my shocks. When I put the new shocks on, my ride height went up almost a quarter of an inch.
This will probably also help with your rubbing in the front. I have 18x8 ET 35's and I don't rub at all when I turn my steering wheel... although H&R's only lower the car by 1.3", not 1.6" like the vogtlands.

Pete. Are you talking we talking about the regular beilstein shocks. Or are talking about shortened beilstein shocks? I just want to be on the same page.
