Question 1994 vs 1995 E420 - Any diff at all?

I'm looking to get either a 94 or 95 E420 to use as a daily driver. Is there any difference between the 94 and 95 model? I haven't been able to find a reliable set of specs to compare, but the specs I did find may suggest that there could be a different fuel injection system. However, it looks like the engine output is identical, so I expect they are likely the same. Comments?

thanks
Todd

95 e320...sold the rest
The engine, and body is 100% identical. (i think)

But I believe there are small components that are slightly different

Other than 95 being the final year of the W124 sedans, they are identical....color offerings may have varied from the 2 years though...other than that....one's newer.

Thanks guys

Anything to focus on while evaluating candidates that is different from the E320 areas of concern such as warning lights not having been rendered useless via bulb removal, engine wiring harness, ventilation controls and actuators, etc?

thanks
Todd

While it is a good idea to check headgaskets for leaks, the V8 does not have the same 'issue' as the 6 cyl. models.

Expect wiring harness disintegration by 120,000 MILES - first signs will be intermittent rough running. Harness will likely look OK, but if you make small incision through the insulation, there may be advanced corrosion.

Check transmission for delay in shifting.

Much of the things to look for are covered in a recent thread: Looking at an E420

Note - I think his dad told him to walk away from the car.
