New to MBWorld

Hi all I am new to this site I just bought my first Mercedes benz
It is an older car of course.
It is a 1991 300CE
With Vin # WDBEA51D5MB446672
I bought the car with 88000 Miles on it and for the most part if has been a nice car. I have already had to replace the front Brakes and both Front Rotors
Next will be the rear brakes and rotors.
The problem I am having is the Brake light is still coming on even after I replaced the front brakes.. Is there anything I should look for as the cause of this? Also the car did not come with an owners manual and there are things about the car that I do not know. Like for example what is the button next to the hazard button for.. It has 3 rotating arrows on it and when I push it a red led comes on. Any help with these question will be helpful thank you for reading this and for your time....

Did you replace the brake wear sensors when you replaced the front brake pads? I don't know the part numbers, but the dealership should know.

No, I don't think you did anything wrong, you just need to replace those sensors They get worn too and if they are worn, your Brake Wear light will always be on.

OK then so if I did not replace the sensor in the front, this could be the reason for the problem... do both the back and front brakes have sensors? I know, I know dumb question, I just do not know.. hahahaha

PS
Thank so much for replying to my post..

Brett answered your brake query....the switch you are asking about with the LED is the air recirculation switch. When you turn it on the climate control stops drawing in outside air and recirculates the inside air
