dang guys this sounds good to me! but the 16th is definetly out for me, im gonna be gone camping that weekend... I could do Sunday the 3rd at the soonest, but after that I'm booked until the 23rd. This will be cool too since nobody except benz260benz has seen my new rims, and my car will have a 75% new engine!

BTW that drive up to Baker is FUN! it's maybe a 40 minute drive and probably the last 20 minutes is where you hit the good turns and faster sections. Very few if any cops up there but you just have to use common sense when going through the small towns. My friend got pulled over just as he was leaving maple falls for speeding so it is always a possibilty... On the way down you find that some of the hairpins on the mountain have lots of sand in the middle so it can be interesting..... haha it took me by surprise when the back end just flew out and I was staring into a 10ft wall of ice

Anyway I would vote for either the 23rd/24th or the 30th/31st.

There is only one way up to the ski lodge, and I think zorro's car would be fine.

Sounds fun!

23rd should be ok for me too, but I may have obligations with new job opportunity.

Let's hear from others out there...

Is anyone else interested on a meet/drive on the 23rd of august? I think this will be a great top off to the summer before we winterize our cars. Any takers...?

I'm pretty sure nobody is reading this thread looking for a end-of-summer GTG so I'll start a new one so we can work out the details.

Nahhh, it's ok, I don't think he's a bad dude at all, or is intentionally screwing me, I think cash may be tight cause he was sick....I just would like to close the transaction, y'know?

Yup = 260 is an OK character.

500 Great!!!

However, as I went to great lengths to say in my text message (sorry, was venting), no time to even think about car mods and as an old guy, technology is battling me all the way!

How are you? Busy working?
