Need quick catalytic converter help pls!!

yeah I will definitely be tossing my car on a lift to assess the situation re: the exhaust....perhaps (since we have no emissions laws in Calgary) I may straight pipe it other than the rear muffler....will there be downsides?
As far as where the damage is, it is def NOT the muffler as the sounds come from mid-car, not the rear...ugh...lol

I'm not sure what the downside is of removing the cat. Just make sure that you still have a spot to hook up your 02 sensor.
I just discovered one major drawback to the magnaflow unit... It hangs probably another 1 or 2" lower than the stock one. Even with the stock unit, if I didn't take just the right angle leaving the parking garage of my condo complex, it would scrape the cat.
Well, no matter what angle I take now, it scrapes. This is a pretty big problem because I will trash this thing in no time flat if I keep this up.
